The Baltimore County Progressive Democrats Club is proud to present a talk by Dr. Jonathan Patz, the longtime lead author for the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, which shared in the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize. This free, unique event brings to Baltimore County a compelling presentation by one of the world's leading experts on the intersection of climate change and public health.

Dr. Patz, a Baltimore native, is director of the Global Health Institute at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He has been with the UN IPCC for 15 years, and he co-chaired the health expert panel of the U.S. National Assessment on Climate Change, a report mandated by the U.S. Congress.

As part of BCPDC’s commitment to political action, it strives to engage and inform Baltimore County citizens on a wide range of progressive issues. All are welcome to this free event. Advance registration via Eventbrite is suggested (given limited seating). A voluntary donation at the door is encouraged.
